Southern State of Mind

It's SUMMER! Wow! I must say...in spite of the heat, I love summer! This time of year brings back some of the sweetest memories of my childhood, times with friends and family, and the beginnings of mine and Andrew's relationship forming! Good times.... Summer in VA has many new memories in the making as well. God has been so faithful in providing us with some wonderful friendships! We are both blessed to have men and women to hang out with and live life together! I am excited to see how this is cultivated in the next 4 months.(wow...4 months left of TBS....time is flying!)

Since living in VA, we have discovered a new love for country music. Andrew says that it's because it reminds us of home and I think there is a lot of truth to that. We just heard a song that I found could completely describe me (especially if a girl was singing it). It's called "Southern State of Mind" by Darius Rucker. Here are the lyrics....if you are a lover of the South, I think you can appreciate it just as much as I do!
