Julia's Last "First" Holiday

I know that it is only a mom who knows all the "first's" in a child's life and keeps at least a mental record of them when they happen.....and so last night as I got Julia dolled up in her Minnie Mouse attire, I kept thinking to myself how I can hardly believe it is Julia's last "first" holiday....Halloween was a fun last "first" holiday to end on though....This girl enjoyed being dressed up and "ohh-ed" and "awww-ed" over! We had a blast at our church's fall festival last night! Julia is growing up so quickly.....only 2 weeks away from her 1 year old birthday! WOW! Praise God for being so faithful in protecting her and keeping her safe, healthy and alive!

Julia, you LOVE reading...you really always have but now you also enjoy pointing at what is going on in the pages and making up your own babble to go along with it.

When you are outside Julia, you love to look up at the trees and watch the leaves dance in the wind. You always get a huge grin on your face (much like this one). I truly believe that you are mesmerized by God's creation. You love being outside and for that I am grateful!

When Julia was born, she would yawn and look like a little mouse to me....and so it seemed only fitting that she would be a pretty Minnie Mouse on Halloween.

Happy Halloween!!

I love watching Andrew and Juju's relationship grow each day. I love that Andrew thinks Julia is the most beautiful girl he has ever seen and I LOVE that he tells her that over and over again. He doesn't know just how much she needs her daddy to tell her that all through life.

My how you have grown my little mouse! Your beauty unfolds every day!
