Hiking with my Husband

If I was to be truly honest.....growing up I was NEVER the super outdoorsy type of girl and to a degree I still would prefer shopping to camping, but since I have been with Andrew, I have really enjoyed hiking in the woods and wonderful campfires! To continue in our celebration and relaxation of TBS gradation (how many "-tion's" do you think I can say in one sentence :), we set out on a hike at Prince William National Forest. Yesterday began our cold season in VA! It rained all day and didn't get above 40 degrees, so we tried to make the most of it by venturing to the base bowling alley and an AWESOME Italian restaurant. We had a great time but really wanted to do something outside since the Fall has been so beautiful. Today it was a perfect fall day to go hiking in the national forest not to far from our house. We were so thankful for the rain from the day before because it showed off some beautiful rivers along our trails!

Needless to say, we had a wonderful time walking around God's creation and talking. And while I may not be the most outdoorsy girl around, I thoroughly enjoy my time with Andrew hiking and camping! So thankful that we can have this as a hobby to do together!
