Lessons by the Front Door

Males and Females are different....Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus....Men are like Waffles, Women are like Spaghetti. I don't know how many times I have heard sayings such as these. But I can promise that it wasn't until I walked in our front door this last week and saw this that I truly understood...

I must admit, as soon as I saw this I just giggled. Combat Boots and Heels....Maybe that should be the title to our blog website...Very much thinking about it! While I know that there are frustrations that come along with the differences between men and women, I rejoice in the fact that God made Andrew completely masculine and me completely feminine. I just finished reading "Biblical Manhood and Womanhood: Understanding Masculinity and Femininity from God's Perspective" by Aubrey Malphurs. It was an incredible book that taught me more about why I am naturally bent to do the things I do and allowed me to gain great insight to Andrew's masculinity and how God designed him. I am still processing and praying through what the book has taught me, but it was wonderful!
