Pregnancy Update- 32,33,34 weeks

Week 34 of pregnancy is well under way! I can hardly believe it! The last few weeks of my 3rd trimester have continue to go smoothly! I am so grateful for how well this pregnancy has gone thus far! Julia is still expected to arrive November 7, 2012....in my next doctors appointment I will get checked and hopefully get more of an idea of when she is coming!

Total Weight Gain: around 20 pounds (Once the scale hit numbers I had never seen before, I started loosing track..... my 34 week appointment I had just gained 2-3 pounds from my 32 week appointment)

Maternity Clothes: I haven't bought anymore "maternity" clothes recently. I try to be in my bathing suit as much as I can to cool off on hotter days. My yellowbox sandals are a LIFE SAVER right now! I feels as if i'm walking on air...and they stretch well for when my feet swell. My FAVORITE outfit right now is maxi skirts. I absolutely love them! They are light weight, incredibly soft, and go with everything. I also love that they don't fit over my belly so I am pretty sure they will continue to be a great choice once Julia arrives and I need a simple and quick outfit to throw on. I already have my eye on another skirt and plan on buying it asap!

(by the way...I cut 5 inches off of my hair last week!! Next on my list is a mani/pedi!)

Stretch marks: Not yet...still keeping well moisturized and hoping they don't decide to appear.

Miss Anything: Sushi would be a nice change for a date night for sure! I miss not getting winded when I walk up a hill. And I REALLY miss wearing heels and wedges!!!

Rings: Rings are DEFINITELY off and will stay that way for a while! Swelling is NO fun for this little girl! My blood pressure is wonderful according to the doctor so it is just one of those things that I have to deal with right now. My sweet nurse told me yesterday told me to go to Macy's and buy a big cheap ring to wear until then....she said she totally understood b/c she went through the same thing while she was pregnant with her daughter.

Movement: Julia has the hiccups EVERY DAY! It is so funny to feel her hiccups...they are very rhythmic! She is pretty active at different times of the day. Around 5ish is when she becomes a little more violent in her moves. She moves so differently than she did before. It is getting much easier to feel  her bottom, her legs, and her feet. It is so sweet to just watch her move and do her thing!

Food Cravings: ANYTHING Sweet please!

Belly Button: I am still an innie! But trust me it does NOT look like it did prior to being preggo!

Happy or moody: haha...moody and hormonal...I am happy the majority of the time but I am SO sensitive! I will cry over the smallest things....Last week I accidentally broke the first coffee mug I ever bought Andrew. This lead to me BAWLING in the bathroom for 15 minutes!

Best Moment this week: Having my 34 week checkup and hearing my doctor say that after my next appointment she will see me every week! It is SO close to getting to meet this little jewel! We also went to BabyBootCamp on base...which provided some great information and lots of fun baby practice for Andrew and I! Andrew is so great to do these classes with me!!! I'm so honored and blessed.

(We got a baby doll for the class which was SO awesome! I felt like a kid again!)

(Andrew was SUCH a trooper to put on this "Empathy Belly"...it was to help partners realize the weight of carrying another person around for 9 months. This Belly was about 40lbs)

Major Accomplishment: Baby Laundry is almost finished and organized! And I found the PERFECT rug for Julia's room at a GREAT price!!!

Looking Forward to: I have a baby shower on Saturday! The chest we bought should arrive in the next couple weeks and this baby's room will be finished soon! I'm also looking forward to buying some more baby things!!!
