Baby Julia's Room

Today I get to go to Hobby Lobby! This is going to be a great trip!!!! I'm mostly excited because it means the beginning of many crafty things I get to do for Julia's room! There are several things on the list right now like... repurposing a side table, repainting some wicker cabinets, making a baby blanket, making a cute nursery mobile, creating a "You are my Sunshine" wall art, painting a big "J", making a cute display for bows and hair pieces, ect. Needless to say I just found out about the hobby lobby being about 25 minutes from my house and I am just so excited to have that "little piece of home" close by.

I'm in full swing in wanting to get things ready for the nursery. I know time will fly by so my goal for the end of July and beginning of August is to buy two new things. 1) Crib and 2) a new dresser. Then in September I'd like to get a nice gliding/rocking chair (preferably in leather, but that may not happen). :) Needless to say I'm excited to get the ball rolling on this baby girls room! Can't believe that the time is coming soon!

OH! I forgot to post that our bedding came in for the nursery earlier this month and we couldn't have been more pleased! We got the curtain panels, bumper pad (which has yellow bows instead of red), fitted bed sheet, comforter, and dust ruffle. The colors are, yellow, chocolate brown, red, and a robins egg blue.
