Erin comes to Cali!

A few days after my parents left to go back to Arkansas our dear friend Erin came to visit us for the week! We had a wonderful time together!!! She filled our house with joy, laughter, and friendship. It was a very special time for Andrew and I! We got to reminisce over memories we made a few years ago and build new memories together. Erin and I spent a lot of time out in the sun, either at the beach or the pool. And we explored some fun towns like Laguna and Newport Beach.

To celebrate Erin's Vacation in California we decided to make homemade cinnamon rolls! Here is the "Evolution of the Rolls." They took a while to make so we ended up eating them for lunch but they were most definitely worth the wait!!! YUMMY!

A trip to see Andrew and Carrie is never complete without a run to Yogurtland! 

The following pics are from our day trip to Laguna beach (for lunch) and Newport Beach for ocean time and a little treat for the ride home!

We "yelp'd" a Mexican food place for lunch as we were driving...it was PHENOMENAL!

Yes this is the highway we took....all the more reason for my friends and family to come visit!

After spending time in the sun we went out to Newport Beach and got some AH-MAZING chocolate covered frozen bananas!

Also, the Sunday after Erin left we got to meet up with some of our friends from TBS- The Lafon's and the Knight's. The husbands used to car pool to and from school together and that is how we all got to be friends! Kristie (in the middle) is expecting too....baby boy Lafon will be here the same time Julia is expected to arrive. Kaylen and her family were visiting CA but are stationed in NC for the time being- it was awesome to spend time with her and her 2 boys!
