Today I am thankful for God's gift to us of imagination. I love that God gives us truth and within those truths there is nothing that can contradict it, because it is God's word. And then based on those truths God grants us to have this imagination that is completely free in Him. I have started a book called Heaven by Randy Alcorn, it has been a great and challenging book, within the first few pages he discusses this idea of Scripture- enhanced imagination specifically in regards to Heaven. He states that we are to start with the revealed truth of God and from that truth our imagination is fueled. It never strays away from God's revealed truth but always goes with it.
I love to dream. I am much more of a dreamer than a realist in my day to day life. I'm thankful that God made me a dreamer and that He gave me His truth in the Bible to dream alongside. God is creative and I pray that in my own creativity and dreaming He is being made manifest in me.
