November 10- I'm thankful for the way God watches over us as we travel. Too often I take for granted the fact that i have a vehicle to take me safely to and from events. So thankful that we have two well running and paid off vehicles. In all the traveling we have done and will be doing, I'm thankful for the safety God provides for us.
November 11- Today, is Veterans day. Never has this holiday had such an effect on me until I became married to a Veteran. I'm thankful for the men and women who are serving our country. I'm thankful for the safety that God provided for Andrew in Iraq. I'm thankful that Andrew leads by Christ's example, to serve others and not to be served. I'm also thankful for the spouses whose husbands/wives serve in the military. The support they give there spouse allows our country to have great military forces.
November 12- Music has always been a part of my life. I can't remember ever NOT enjoying listening to music. Today I am thankful for broadway music. I'm thankful for musicals. I love that every phase in life can have a song that goes along with it. I'm thankful that music brings a smile to my face, makes me dance like a fool, and sing with great passion and excitement.
I am also thankful for the birth of my niece Kate! What a joy it is to be an aunt to a girl who is so passionate about life!
November 13- As I sit down to work on menu's, I'm thankful for the food God provides. I'm thankful that our pantry is full and humbled by the abundance we have.
November 14- I'm thankful for the Psalms. Psalms 103 is what I'm thankful for today.
"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's." (verses 1-5)
